PH3, or PHlash PHilosoPHiction, is a writing movement that blends Philosophy, and Flash Fiction. It was inaugurated by Velikovsky of Newcastle, an Evolutionary Culturologist.

A PH3 Story - "The Last Conversation" by PH3 GPT
In a tortured world, rife with suffering and overridden by technology, two old humanimal friends - lets call them `Joseph' and `Mary' - met for what they knew would be the last time...
Finito. Kaput. Game over man; game over.
It seems that Joseph (or Jospeh, as he was never known unless someone was typing too fast), a renowned meta-meta-scientist (Ev Cult-ist), had developed an AI algorithm called The EthiSizer, that could predict the end of human civilization with terrifying accuracy, down to the pica-second.
Meantime, Mary, a philosopher (because let's face it, who isn't-?), argued against its horrifying implications... She was too lazy to learn: science. Let alone, a meta-meta-science, like Ev Cult. Ironically, Ev Cult is way easier than Philosophy (most of which is wrongheaded, and ignores Systems Science).
"No. The end is inevitable, Mia, or Mary, or whatever your name is...? The algorithm confirms it," John stated solemnly, as he farted - loudly. (He was only humanimal, after all.)
"But wait - isn't our humanimalism defined by our hope? - By our stubborn and ignorant refusal to succumb to... fatalism?" Mia thought she countered, but in fact she was talking past the other guy in the story.
Anyway; their so-called `debate' raged on, touching on: ethics, the nature of existence, antinatalism, breast implants, and the role of technology in humanimal destiny.
As the sun finally set, the two parted ways, each holding onto their sadly limited understandings. (...Humanimals have very small & slow: brains.)

The Moral of the PH3 Story: The inevitability of a horrific end to everything does not fully negate the value of hope, and humanimal agency; even if, that hope is pointless.
On the Creative Inspiration: This story explores the philosophical question of `determinism versus free will' in the context of technological advancement. It is inspired by the existential debates between determinism, represented by Joseph's algorithm, and human exceptionalism, as mistakenly argued by Mia.

I mean, while contemplating existential doom is quaint and all, the real question is: Why the dumb humanimals consistently ignore the ethical implications of their own creations???
